Hello again!I would like to show you one of the best musical comedy-drama TV series ever released... "Glee"!
If you love music (like 99.9% of the world) and you want to have a lot of fun, "Glee" is something you should definitely watch! The story revolves around a high school glee club named "New Directions"... This means you can expect a lot of singing, dancing and many, many other forms of entertainment. Adding comedy to that, "Glee" succeeds in capturing the viewer's attention extremely well!
Almost everyone in the cast of "Glee" is an actor, singer, dancer and comedian at the same time. To be honest, I have never watched such a mixture of Talents (with capital "T"). I really can't find second-class performing... everything is just... excellent! In my view, there s just one thing that could have been done better - the story! There are some really spectacular moments but there are also times when you are pretty sure what will happen! However, I can't really judge the scriptwriters having in mind everything else "Glee" has to offer...
I wasn't very sure how to present the cast of "Glee" as I knew that it would be very difficult to cover everything. There are more than 200 songs performed in the two season released so far. I think that almost every one of them deserves attention but this review would get far too long! That's why I chose to say a few words about the most important characters.
Glee CAST:
- Lea Michele as Rachel Berry - In my view, she is the best singer in the show... Many of her covers are as good as or even better than the original songs! What more could you want?
- Chris Colfer as Kurt Hummel - A great singer, as well... I think that he is perhaps the most important character, the one that keeps the story going...If you watch the show, you will see why!
- Matthew Morrison as Will Schuester - The man who teaches the glee club how to be even better!
- Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester - the B-A-D one!You will have a lot of fun listening to her outstanding dialogues (especially with Will Schuester). She wants to put an end to the glee club and she seems absolutely unbeatable!
However, she has her weak spots, as well...
- Last but not least, I want to share how great it is to see so many guest stars appearing in the show. My absolute favorite is Gwyneth Paltrow... so professional! Actually, just two days ago, she won an Emmy for participating in "Glee".
One more thing to mention... if you decide to watch "Glee" and go through all 44 episodes (2 seasons), there is good news: "Glee" Season 3 starts today!Happy watching!
P.S. Excuse me for embedding too many videos but I just can't imagine this review without the music!Once again, please share your opinions and thoughts about "Glee" (if you have already watched it or if you have just started watching it) and about the review itself... Thanks!
